I had an urgent phone call at work saying that Nan had taken a turn for the worse and it was advised that we get to the hospital as soon as possible. None of the family hesitated, we were there straight away. We were then soon told that Nan was deteriorating and that she had a matter of hours instead of days to live. My dearest Nan, My guardian angel and my best friend was taken from us all. After a long hard battle she could no longer fight. Nan passed away peacefully in her sleep at about 4pm, with us all at her hospital bedside, holding her hand and telling her how much she meant to them. I didnt want to let go and leave her... That was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Sleep peacefully Nan, until I can come and be with you again someday xxxx xxxx
